NPS (Net Promoter Score)

A metric measuring customer loyalty based on how likely they are to recommend you.

NPS asks customers to rate, on a 0–10 scale, how likely they are to recommend the product, then subtracts detractors from promoters. A high NPS signals satisfaction, retention and word-of-mouth potential — useful evidence of product love.

Examples

A startup reports an NPS of 60, indicating strong advocacy. — Falling NPS prompts a product fix.
